How to Enable Camera Access for Document and Food Scanning in Healthy4U

If the scanning button for documents or food is not active in your app, it’s likely because Healthy4U does not have access to your camera. This could be due to restrictions set in your device’s settings. But don’t worry! We’ll show you how to easily enable access so you can start using all the application’s features again.

Why Is Scanning Not Working?

Apple may block camera access for third-party applications by default to ensure security and privacy. If you haven’t granted permission for the app to access the camera, the buttons for scanning documents or food will not be active.

How to Grant Camera Access?

Step 1: Open Device Settings  

Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad. This is the icon with a gear on the home screen.

Step 2: Find App Settings  

Scroll through the settings list and locate Healthy4U in the applications section. Tap on it.

Step 3: Allow Camera Access  

In the app’s settings menu, you will see an option for “Camera.” Make sure the switch next to it is turned on (green). This will give the app access to the camera for scanning.

Step 4: Check Functionality  

Once you’ve enabled access, return to Healthy4U and try to activate food or document scanning again. If everything was done correctly, the buttons will become active, and you’ll be able to start scanning.

How to Check Camera Settings in iOS if Access Is Denied?

If the problem persists after enabling permissions, follow these steps:  

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Camera  
  2. Locate the Healthy4U app in the list and ensure that access is granted.  
  3. If access is denied, simply toggle the switch to the on position.

What to Do If the Problem Is Not Resolved?

  1. Restart your device to refresh all settings.  
  2. Check if you have the latest version of the Healthy4U app. If not, update it via the App Store.
